District 19-2A was comprised of Daingerfield, Ore City, New Diana, Harmony, Union Grove, Hughes Springs, and White Oak

Ranked #2 in Class 2A for all but 2 weeks of the season
Had to overcome the loss of junior point guard Kris Anderson during the 2nd game of district to what the medical experts described as a season ending finger injury that required surgery. Anderson returned to the lineup after 4 weeks and did not miss another game displaying the heart and toughness of a champion that epitomized the team.
Senior guard Caleb Carr set a new White Oak High School record for points in a season (652) and became the All-Time Leading Scorer in the history of White Oak Basketball with 1699 career points.
37 wins set a new White Oak High School record for wins in a season.
Lone loss was to eventual Class 1A State Champion Clarksville in the Van Tournament
Finished the season on a 32 game winning streak including championships in the Spring Hill Tournament and Tenaha Holiday Hoops Tournament.
Senior Caleb Carr was selected Most Valuable Player of the Class 2A State Championship Game and senior Jerred Whisenhunt was selected to the All-State Tournament Team.

Area Finals – Defeated Mt. Pleasant Chapel Hill 72-59
Regional Quarterfinals – Defeated Hooks 62-59
Regional Semifinals – Defeated Woden 67-57
Regional Finals – Defeated Kountze 65-63 despite trailing by 11 points going into the 4th quarter
State Semifinals – Defeated #1 ranked and defending state champion Idalou 67-45
State Finals – Defeated #7 ranked Brock 61-53 to win the Class 2A State Championship
